Student Colloquia Graduate Student monthly Colloquium would be held on Thursdays, starting in October. We're really excited to have our own graduate students present papers in front of the other grad students(and professors too!) in an effort to give the grad students more experience in presenting papers, interacting with each other in academic discussion (in an open atmosphere), and to promote a better intellectual and social atmosphere in the Department. In the Spring, we'll hope to have a Professionalization Workshop, probably on one of the same occasions, as well as a "Job Talk" colloquium or colloquia. |
